What is it About?

We have all heard traumatic sounding stories about children in foster homes who grow up without a sense of family, or belonging. Despite being rescued from abuse, neglect and other atrocities, they are trapped in a system that is over worked, over burdened and underfunded. One of the foundations to that struggling system is a loving and nurturing foster home. Unfortunately there is a shortage of families willing to go the extra mile for a strangers child. Our primary goal is to license caring, committed people who believe that all children deserve more. People who feel that whether they are needed for a month or the rest of the child’s life, they want to give that love and nurturing to a child and help maintain the foundation of the sense of belonging that every child deserves.

My life is working with children. It is important to me to bring to the children what the system has never brought them before. We have partnered with many groups and organizations to make that happen. In our licensing division, I have hand chosen a team of people who share this goal.
